Nolan's pocket presence under pressure is very natural. His footwork, whether under center or shotgun is very natural. He has very good field of vision. When under center, he has a nice quick drop back. You could clearly see the box drill working as Nolan looked for open receivers. His load and release created a strong pass to his receivers. Nolan feels he will only get better and better as he continues to go through the Complete QB Camp every year.

The Complete QB camp with Coach Johnston was my yearly tune up to get all of my fundamentals back so I could perform at my highest level. Being a quarterback there are so many little techniques that could make or break the big throw that came each game. Coach Johnston takes quarterbacks to a level higher, just by the angle of the arms on your drop, or getting depth so you buy yourself extra time in the pocket. The short 2-day camp was filled with enough information to last me a whole season. Until this day, even though I'm not a quarterback anymore, I remember the drills and things he taught at camp. I have been to many camps on how to be a better quarterback, but the Complete QB camp was by far THE BEST camp I went to in my four years of high school. If you want to be a better, more mature, more fundamentally sound quarterback, then Coach Johnston is who you need to see.

I just wanted the praise you for your willingness to dedicate your time and wisdom to teaching these kids the proper technique and skills of throwing, reading defenses, and all other aspects of the QB position. Tyler learned a great deal at your camp and it has allowed him the opportunity to step in as a freshman and perform. I know he has a lot to learn and he will make his share of freshman mistakes but he is doing what he loves to do, which is play football.

70 kids tried out. 32 made it, including Josh. 9 kids tried out for QB, and they chose 3, not even giving Josh a shot. Josh went up to the coach (on his own) and asked if he could have a shot at QB. The coach gave him a shot that next day. Josh bumped the third string QB! They had a scrimmage the following week, and after his performance, Josh moved up to second string! He is still fighting, and hoping for a game-day shot! Thank you for helping Josh be a better QB! Looking forward to next camp!
